One of the hottest tracks on the UK’s modern soul scene has been the catchy up-tempo U DON’T WANT MY LOVE, now the title track of the debut album from US vocalist Donald McCollum.

A fan of classic Seventies and Eighties soul from the likes of Curtis Mayfield, Teddy Pendergrass, Isaac Hayes and Luther Vandross, Donald reveals some of those influences on the 12-track album, which includes the Isaac Hayes-composed ballad You’re In My Arms Again, the superbly sung and produced soul slowies Lose My Kool and Love Will Come Along and the pure funk approach of Creep.
