Dome Records Ltd believes in respecting your privacy. That means that we will not abuse or misuse the information you give us in any way.

Dome Records Internet Privacy and Cookies Policy

General:

At Dome Records Ltd we are committed to safeguarding and preserving the privacy of our visitors. This privacy policy explains what happens to any personal data that you provide to us, or that we collect from you whilst you visit our Website. 

Information that we collect:

  1. In running and maintaining our Website we may collect and process the following data about you:

Where used, these cookies are downloaded to your computer and stored on the computer’s hard drive. Such information will not identify you personally. It is statistical data which does not identify any personal details whatsoever.

From 25th May 2018, under applicable Data Protection Law we may only process your information if we have a “legal basis” (i.e. a legally permitted reason) for doing so. For the purposes of this privacy policy our legal basis for processing your information is based on the provision of your consent.

We use the information that we collect from you to provide our services to you. In addition to this we may use the information for one or more of the following purposes:

  1. To provide information to you that you request from us relating to our products, services, promotions, offers and competitions.
  2. To inform you of any changes to our Website, services or goods and products.
    We never give your details to third parties to use your data to enable them to provide you with information regarding unrelated goods or services.

If you post or send offensive, inappropriate or objectionable content anywhere on the Website, or otherwise engage in any disruptive behaviour on the Website, Dome Records Ltd may use your personal information to stop such behaviour.

Where Dome Records Ltd reasonably believes that you are or may be in breach of any of the laws of England or Wales (for example, but without limitation, because content you have posted may be defamatory), Dome Records Ltd may use your personal information to inform relevant third parties about the content and your behaviour.

Storing your personal data:

In operating our Website it may become necessary to transfer data that we collect from you to locations outside of the European Union for processing and storing. By providing your personal data to us, you agree to this transfer, storing and processing. We do our utmost to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to make sure that your data is stored securely. Unfortunately the sending of information via the internet is not totally secure and on occasion such information can be intercepted. We cannot guarantee the security of data that you choose to send us electronically, so sending such information is entirely at your own risk.

How long will Dome Records Ltd keep my personal information?

We will hold your personal information on our systems until your registration is cancelled.

Where you contribute to a Website, Dome Records Ltd will generally only keep your content for as long as is reasonably required for the purpose(s) for which it was submitted.

We will not disclose your personal information to any other party other than in accordance with this privacy policy and in the circumstances detailed below:

On occasion we may include links to third parties on the Website. Where we provide a link it does not mean that we endorse or approve that site’s policy towards visitor privacy. You should review their privacy policy before sending them any personal data.

What if I am a user aged 16 or under?

If you are aged 16 or under, please obtain your parent or guardian’s permission before you provide personal information to a Website, if asked to do so on the Website. Users without this consent are not allowed to provide us with personal information.

What if I am accessing a Website outside the UK?

The Website is published in the UK. All personal information submitted by you to a Website will be processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy (and any local terms that apply on a Website) unless terms on the Website specify otherwise.

Changes to Dome Records Ltd’s Privacy Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. 

Access To Information

You have the right to request a copy of personal information Dome Records Ltd holds about you, and to have any inaccuracies corrected, under the Data Protection Act. We are entitled to charge a nominal fee to process such requests (currently £10 per request) and request that you provide proof of your identity in the form of two items of approved photographic identification (eg a passport and drivers’ licence). We will use reasonable efforts to supply, correct or delete personal information about you on our files.
